Chill of Guilt

I understand that someone has gotten the feeling of being cold when they wake up in the morning to find out that the temperature outside is 10 degrees fahrenheit; I would be cold too. But if someone is cold even when the temperature is a blazing seventy five degrees, you can easily tell that they feel guilty about something horrible they have done in the past.

Ghosts From the Past Coming to Haunt Us

Some people might have a saying that "old sins cast long shadows." Many of us wonder what that means. Well, it means that your past can ruin your present and your future if you allow it, but you forget that many people would say that they don't want to talk about their past. However, if you are hungry and want your future the way you want it to be, then seeing these ghosts might make you desire to stay on the straight and narrow path even more.

It was just an accident

Many people spiritually believe that they are invincible and if they do get caught, then they personally blame someone else and it just so happens to be an accident. But a very wise person told me that nothing happens by accident; it is the will of a person's desire to make an event happen. However, others just want them to make events happen in one piece.

One Force

I was beginning to wonder how everything is the way it is. Well, I want to ask a question. What if everything was somehow connected with each other in some way shape or form. Maybe the energy that is hidden within all living things is somehow connected with each other. I would not know why, but all I do know that they are arranged together in order to feel the energy that surrounds us.

Grand Entrance of Sunlight Energy

I began to wonder about how people can get so much energy for a short amount of time while they are outside, that is not drinking a ton of caffeine beforehand. See if you put your hands in front of your face, where they are directly pointing towards the sunlight, then the sun's rays would begin to enter your body and energize your spirit both internally and externally. But you only have to do it for a minute.

Freely Opening the Musical Door

Whenever people listen to music, like the classical musical scores played by a grand orchestra, they imagine themselves walking into a building and traveling through a room according to the music. And, when the musical score goes through a transition, people feel like they are opening a door and walking into a new room that is filled with color, sound, promise, hope, and emotion. Classic musical scores have dramatic mood swings that resonate the seven chakras within a person's spirit, and the attitude changes as the music transitions from one movement to another. And, when the song ends, people imagine themselves walking out of the building. But, once they hear a new song, they enter another building, and the process starts all over again.

Avatar the Last Airbender Chakras Are Free

I understand that kids love watching cartoons, and they do not really want to absorb the information presented to them that could be cited in real academic sources. However, I just noticed a critical piece of information in the television show, "Avatar the Last Airbender," that just so happens to be true in real life. For instance, when Aang goes to the Eastern Air Temple, and talks with Guru Pathik about opening the seven major chakras, they discuss how the energy within our seven chakras is like a flowing creek, and how the emotions that block the pathways between the pools of energy are linked with the seven major chakras within our bodies.

Spiritual Adreneline Free Rush

Anytime that people get either stressed out or under duress, they first have a shot of energy that jumps into their system, and then it leaves an emotional scar within their soul when the adreneline rush is gone. Some of these issues include people having stress at work, fighting with their parents, and running late to many of their appointments that they have set before because of a minor distraction. But, it is really hard for a person to keep a certain good image that he or she wants to portray to many people in their personal lives. This is because when they have a nervous breakdown, and someone else is hurt within this process, then that person is never portrayed as the same good role-model that they were beforehand. And, the emotional scar, that people inflict on either themselves, or others, stays with them for the rest of their lives, so they never forget what kinds of wrongs that a single individual person did.

Chakra's Origin Annotated Bibliography

Link: http://home.comcast.net/~chakra_system/chakra.html

From: Myss, C. (2004, December 19). A brief history of the chakra system. Retrieved April 6, 2009, from Chakra, Vortex of Light: http://home.comcast.net/~chakra_system/chakra.html

According to Carolym Myss, the seven chakras represent the colors of the rainbow, as well as vehicles of personal empowerment, that help us maintain health, and connect us to the divine. Rainbow colors and rainbow myths are present in many different cultures, including our very own culture. In western culture, the two signs are the rainbow appearing as a sign to Noah, and the Hopi rainbow warrior. Reverend Bruyere tells the story of the warrior, who discovered meaning in the rainbow of color that he saw around everything. Sound raised to a higher vibration is also color, which possibly could be music. According to Hindu beliefs, everything that is created in the universe is made of sound. Each chakra has a "seed sound", which are the symbolic representations of the energy pattern of each chakra while holding its essence, also referred to as bija mantras. When people properly preform these mantras, the individual resonates with the particular chakra. People use crystal bowls or tuning forks to aid those wishing to resonate with these wheels of light. This is important because nobody really knows where and when the seven chakras were created. I appreciate the fact that the little things in life have been created by a larger source.

Chakra's Path to the Creek Free Post

All chakras within living organisms have a similar circular motion. Chakras are the pools of energy within our bodies. Personally, I think of the seven chakras as a flowing creek. If there were no difficulties in life, the creek would flow pure and clear. However, life is messy, and things tend to fall into the creek; therefore, preventing the creek from flowing. But if living organisms open the pathway between the pools, the energy flows. There are seven major chakras within the body. Each one represents an attribute, and is blocked by an emotional muck. Opening the chakras is an intense process; and once people start the process, they cannot stop until all seven are open.

Chakra Free Post

If people were to look in a mirror, then they could be able to define their mood just by looking at their faces. But, the emotion originates from the inside, which resonates within the seven chakras. If they are going to transform their personalities through a metamorphosis, they would have to go through an uneasy process that would require them to sit down and open all seven chakras. It is an intense process, and once they start opening the chakras, they cannot stop until all seven are open.

How Music, Chakras, and Emotions are All Connected Annotated Bibliography

Link: http://jneumann.squarespace.com/journal/2005/10/7/friday-october-7-2005-music-and-the-chakras.html

From: Music and The Chakras. (2005, October 7). Retrieved April 2, 2009, from The Skeptical Mystic: http://jneumann.squarespace.com/journal/2005/10/7/friday-october-7-2005-music-and-the-chakras.html

According to the author, music crystalizes the emotions, which also activates the chakras. The problem is that chakras activated internally are connected with memories, personality, and conditioned responses, which can stir up defense systems. Once they are activated, energy no longer flows as freely through the chakras. In addition, the flow through the chakras influences the distortion or negativity of emotions consciously or unconsciously expressed. As humans, we pride ourselves on being a thinking species; but, we remain creatures driven by emotions. The discipline of spiritual detachment should be the awareness of how external influences affect our internal responses and choices. He also says that music can allow emotions to flow throughout the chakras, which keeps the chakras activated and the individual motivated. Music empowers us by keeping us imprisoned in the music that we crave, which could release emotions internally blocked from free expression. When life is hard, singing about it helps either ease or remove the pain. When we are frustrated by feeling restricted by social conditions, music releases the frustration and anger. Tension is released in a non-threatening manner, since the singer does not have to claim personal responsibility to feel and express the emotion of the music itself. This is true on all levels, and I appreciate the fact that music is not just something to help people relax after a hard day. It also cleanses peoples' spirits internally, and increases spiritual energy.

How Emotions Affect the Seven Chakras Annotated Bibliography

Link: http://www.eclecticenergies.com/chakras/emotions.php

From: Berkers, E. (2003, April 6). How emotions affect the chakras. Retrieved April 1, 2009, from Eclectic Energies: http://www.eclecticenergies.com/chakras/emotions.php

According to Ewald Berkers, emotions and states that are able to close down chakras, if they're not processed adequately, are called demons. The demons affect the functions that are associated with the chakras. For instance, the Root Chakra is associated with fear, and it concerns the person's right to be here on the face of the Earth. The Sacral Chakra expresses guilt, therefore preventing people to feel anything at all. The Navel Chakra expresses shame, which therefore blocks people's right to act like themselves. The Heart Chakra expresses sorrow, blocking people's ability to love others and be loved by others. The Throat Chakra expresses lies, which in turn blocks peoples' abilities to speak and hear the truth. The Third Eye Chakra expresses illusion, which blocks the person's right to see and realize the truth. And finally, the Crown Chakra expresses attachment, which blocks people's right to know the bigger picture. This is true in many cases and people must realize the spiritual energy within them. Only then will they be able to realize the truth. I truly appreciate the forces that I cannot see, and Berkers has brought the unknown forces out into the open.

Decision Making Free Post

All around the world, there are people that run into many different conflicts, no matter how much energy that they have. They could be threatened in many ways, and people are forced to use their energy trapped in their minds, hearts, and spirits, to make decisions that will put them on the right spiritual path. Unfortunately, there are many people who make the wrong decisions, and they have to suffer the consequences of their actions, just like Plaxico Burress did when he took a loaded gun into a New York City nightclub, instead of staying home and taking care of their families. In fact, after the gun went off, Burress tried to cover it up by checking into a local hospital, while signing in as Harris Smith. Not only that, he told hospital administrators that he was shot at an Applebees. I know what is eventually going to happen to poor Plaxico Burress. He is going to go to jail, possibly for the rest of his life because he made one reckless decision that would ruin his life, as well as his legacy, forever. This proves that people must use their energy in order to make wise decisions, and Plaxico Burress did not do it.

Wendell Berry

According to Wendell Berry, energy is all around us, and it lasts for an eternity. I believe that all energy lingers in all corners of the universe, and if we accept it, then we could save the planet by recycling cardboard and bottles. However, I believe that many lifeforms can also be recycled in a process called reincarnation. When people die, they could possibly be reincarnated in the generation in the future, according to religion. Many people think that when they die, then they are gone for good. But, souls do not die.

Peer Responding Post

That is true. However, have you ever thought of the possibility that after people or animals die, their souls could be reincarnated into the next generation or two, just like the cardboard that you were talking about. I remember the story that one of my high school teachers told me, that the Yupiks remove the bladder of the animals that they kill, and place them into the sea, so it can possibly be reincarnated into another animal.

Musical Research Post Annotated Bibliography

Link: http://www.nutrimusic.com/health-secrets/colors-in-the-seven-musical-energy-centers

From: Joseph, T. (2008, November 11). Colors in the seven musical centers. Retrieved March 30, 2009, from Nutrition Music: http://www.nutrimusic.com/health-secrets/colors-in-the-seven-musical-energy-centers

According to Thomas Joseph, the magic of colors energize all matter on the planet Earth. He also explains how the seven colors can link to us human beings spiritually by using the seven colors to link to the seven chakras within our bodies, and how it links with our nervous system that controls everything we do. He says that these colors control our body:

Red: Base
Orange: Sacral Center
Yellow: Solar Plexus
Green: Heart Center
Blue: Throat Chakra
Indigo: Third Eye
Purple: Crown

He also says that the red, orange, and yellow colors have low frequencies, which represent our physical activities, and the green, blue, indigo, and violet colors have high frequencies, which represents communication with our internal environment. What he means is that we need to look deep within ourselves in order to find the path of enlightenment. This is all true because I have also felt the seven chakras within myself. I appreciate it when Thomas Joseph has stressed this important matter to the rest of us common individuals.

Literal Energy Consumption Free Post

Whenever people eat food or drink liquid, they replenish their energy supply that is within their body. Many foods include pizza, hot dogs, lettuce, carrots, apples, oranges, etc. That way, people can get through one normal day at school, or at work, without whining about how they are so hungry all the time whenever other people are trying to work.

Thomas Friedman Journal Cloud Nine

Friedman, T. (2009, March 17). In 2008 we began to see the need for change. Anchorage Daily News, p. A9

It is really sad that the people all around the world have been suffering because of tainted drinking water, and all of the other natural resources being destroyed. He explains how the politicians all around the world have been creating stimulous packages so they could save their own economies. But, I think that they are overlooking the different forms of energy that could be used instead of electricity, water, and air. Maybe they overlooked how people can take energy from many different places, such as plants and other animals. I remember seeing some people in cartoons, that I saw when I was young, using hamsters running on hamster wheels with giant pieces of steak attached to the tops of the wheel in order to generate power for their community. I know it is only a cartoon, but maybe people could use those kinds of ideas to solve the problem of energy in our country.

Energy Map

As the seasons change, the sun's rays directly point to a particular spot on the planet Earth. For this reason, I was not surprised that the countries near the equator, the Tropic of Cancer, and the Tropic of Capricorn, would use the most solar energy. However, I was surprised of the fact that the northern countries of the world do not use as much solar energy in the summer, due to the fact that in the summer, the sun is out all of the time for sixty days. But, it also is the opposite in the winter time, so that might explain the lack of solar energy usage as well.

Forest Free Post

I understand that the plants use photosynthesis in order to create their food. So I thought that if all of the people in a football stadium stand in the middle of the forest, and scream at the top of their lungs, just like they would do at a football game, then the fans would create enough carbon dioxide to allow every single tree within the vicinity to use their process of photosynthesis so they can project oxygen back into the air. In other words, if people talked to their plants, then they would be helping each other survive.

Photosynthesis in Plants Annotated Bibliography

Link: http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/Hbase/Biology/plaene.html

Nave, R. (2009, March 24). Plant energy transport. Retrieved March 25, 2009, from Hyperphysics, Biology: http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/Hbase/Biology/plaene.html

Nave describes the plants as autotrophs because they are able to transport their energy by converting carbon dioxide into oxygen. It's nutrients are also formed when the combination of carbon dioxide, water, and sunlight convert the nutrients into sugar, which is also known as glucose. Since the nutrients are always processed in the leaves, the nutrients must go to the other parts of the plant. In addition, the glucose and all the other organic molecules are transported along the plant through a special layer of plant tissue known as phloem. Phloem, if you don't already know, is composed of living cells that transport a water solution of sugars that we commonly call sap. The movement throughout the plant is classified by the pressure-flow theory, which is where the sugar-containing fluid is moved through sieve tubes by fluid pressure. This means that nutrients are moved from the photosynthetic site, also known as the source, to the place where the sugar is being used, which is classified as the sink, whether it moves up or down the stem of the plant. Though the author is a scientist, and I would not question what he is saying, it is extremely difficult for the common reader to understand. However, I appreciate how he explains the plant's process of photosynthesis very much because it is all true.

Energy Calculator's Carbon Footprint

After taking the Carbon Footprint test on the BP Energy Calculator, I was surprised that I use 25,667 Kilowatts of power per year, but most of the questions asked me how much I use on planes, trains, and taxis. I am only a college student, so I do not go on business trips, or take a train in a subway on a daily basis. I thought that the test was going to ask me questions about electronic devices, like televisions, blue ray players, DVD Players, DVD Recorders, and VCRs; not the kind of questions like business travel, taxi services, and long haul flights. The only kind of flights that I have been on, in recent years, are the short ones to Deadhorse for two weeks of work, and the ones coming back for two weeks of break. Somehow, many people leave the lights on in their homes, therefore wasting a ton of energy, but there are many different types of energy that can be found in many different places.
