Freely Opening the Musical Door

Whenever people listen to music, like the classical musical scores played by a grand orchestra, they imagine themselves walking into a building and traveling through a room according to the music. And, when the musical score goes through a transition, people feel like they are opening a door and walking into a new room that is filled with color, sound, promise, hope, and emotion. Classic musical scores have dramatic mood swings that resonate the seven chakras within a person's spirit, and the attitude changes as the music transitions from one movement to another. And, when the song ends, people imagine themselves walking out of the building. But, once they hear a new song, they enter another building, and the process starts all over again.

Avatar the Last Airbender Chakras Are Free

I understand that kids love watching cartoons, and they do not really want to absorb the information presented to them that could be cited in real academic sources. However, I just noticed a critical piece of information in the television show, "Avatar the Last Airbender," that just so happens to be true in real life. For instance, when Aang goes to the Eastern Air Temple, and talks with Guru Pathik about opening the seven major chakras, they discuss how the energy within our seven chakras is like a flowing creek, and how the emotions that block the pathways between the pools of energy are linked with the seven major chakras within our bodies.

Spiritual Adreneline Free Rush

Anytime that people get either stressed out or under duress, they first have a shot of energy that jumps into their system, and then it leaves an emotional scar within their soul when the adreneline rush is gone. Some of these issues include people having stress at work, fighting with their parents, and running late to many of their appointments that they have set before because of a minor distraction. But, it is really hard for a person to keep a certain good image that he or she wants to portray to many people in their personal lives. This is because when they have a nervous breakdown, and someone else is hurt within this process, then that person is never portrayed as the same good role-model that they were beforehand. And, the emotional scar, that people inflict on either themselves, or others, stays with them for the rest of their lives, so they never forget what kinds of wrongs that a single individual person did.

Chakra's Origin Annotated Bibliography

Link: http://home.comcast.net/~chakra_system/chakra.html

From: Myss, C. (2004, December 19). A brief history of the chakra system. Retrieved April 6, 2009, from Chakra, Vortex of Light: http://home.comcast.net/~chakra_system/chakra.html

According to Carolym Myss, the seven chakras represent the colors of the rainbow, as well as vehicles of personal empowerment, that help us maintain health, and connect us to the divine. Rainbow colors and rainbow myths are present in many different cultures, including our very own culture. In western culture, the two signs are the rainbow appearing as a sign to Noah, and the Hopi rainbow warrior. Reverend Bruyere tells the story of the warrior, who discovered meaning in the rainbow of color that he saw around everything. Sound raised to a higher vibration is also color, which possibly could be music. According to Hindu beliefs, everything that is created in the universe is made of sound. Each chakra has a "seed sound", which are the symbolic representations of the energy pattern of each chakra while holding its essence, also referred to as bija mantras. When people properly preform these mantras, the individual resonates with the particular chakra. People use crystal bowls or tuning forks to aid those wishing to resonate with these wheels of light. This is important because nobody really knows where and when the seven chakras were created. I appreciate the fact that the little things in life have been created by a larger source.

Chakra's Path to the Creek Free Post

All chakras within living organisms have a similar circular motion. Chakras are the pools of energy within our bodies. Personally, I think of the seven chakras as a flowing creek. If there were no difficulties in life, the creek would flow pure and clear. However, life is messy, and things tend to fall into the creek; therefore, preventing the creek from flowing. But if living organisms open the pathway between the pools, the energy flows. There are seven major chakras within the body. Each one represents an attribute, and is blocked by an emotional muck. Opening the chakras is an intense process; and once people start the process, they cannot stop until all seven are open.

Chakra Free Post

If people were to look in a mirror, then they could be able to define their mood just by looking at their faces. But, the emotion originates from the inside, which resonates within the seven chakras. If they are going to transform their personalities through a metamorphosis, they would have to go through an uneasy process that would require them to sit down and open all seven chakras. It is an intense process, and once they start opening the chakras, they cannot stop until all seven are open.

How Music, Chakras, and Emotions are All Connected Annotated Bibliography

According to the author, music crystalizes the emotions, which also activates the chakras. The problem is that chakras activated internally are connected with memories, personality, and conditioned responses, which can stir up defense systems. Once they are activated, energy no longer flows as freely through the chakras. In addition, the flow through the chakras influences the distortion or negativity of emotions consciously or unconsciously expressed. As humans, we pride ourselves on being a thinking species; but, we remain creatures driven by emotions. The discipline of spiritual detachment should be the awareness of how external influences affect our internal responses and choices. He also says that music can allow emotions to flow throughout the chakras, which keeps the chakras activated and the individual motivated. Music empowers us by keeping us imprisoned in the music that we crave, which could release emotions internally blocked from free expression. When life is hard, singing about it helps either ease or remove the pain. When we are frustrated by feeling restricted by social conditions, music releases the frustration and anger. Tension is released in a non-threatening manner, since the singer does not have to claim personal responsibility to feel and express the emotion of the music itself. This is true on all levels, and I appreciate the fact that music is not just something to help people relax after a hard day. It also cleanses peoples' spirits internally, and increases spiritual energy.

How Emotions Affect the Seven Chakras Annotated Bibliography

Link: http://www.eclecticenergies.com/chakras/emotions.php

From: Berkers, E. (2003, April 6). How emotions affect the chakras. Retrieved April 1, 2009, from Eclectic Energies: http://www.eclecticenergies.com/chakras/emotions.php

According to Ewald Berkers, emotions and states that are able to close down chakras, if they're not processed adequately, are called demons. The demons affect the functions that are associated with the chakras. For instance, the Root Chakra is associated with fear, and it concerns the person's right to be here on the face of the Earth. The Sacral Chakra expresses guilt, therefore preventing people to feel anything at all. The Navel Chakra expresses shame, which therefore blocks people's right to act like themselves. The Heart Chakra expresses sorrow, blocking people's ability to love others and be loved by others. The Throat Chakra expresses lies, which in turn blocks peoples' abilities to speak and hear the truth. The Third Eye Chakra expresses illusion, which blocks the person's right to see and realize the truth. And finally, the Crown Chakra expresses attachment, which blocks people's right to know the bigger picture. This is true in many cases and people must realize the spiritual energy within them. Only then will they be able to realize the truth. I truly appreciate the forces that I cannot see, and Berkers has brought the unknown forces out into the open.
